NCEDA is the voice for North Carolina's economic development community — a statewide network of more than 1,000 practitioners, allies, and partners who rely on the association for professional development, networking, and legislative advocacy. As membership grew, the organization's website needed to make it easier for members and prospective members to find the resources they needed most, like certification programs, events, committee work, and advocacy updates.
The core challenge was structural, not cosmetic. NCEDA needed a site that organized itself around what the organization does, so a new visitor could quickly understand its role and an existing member could get to the right resource in a click or two.
We led branding, web design, and development for a full site rebuild with the goal of simplifying navigation and creating a clearer path to what people came for — resources to network, advocate, and grow professionally.
Faster paths to the right resource
Consolidating scattered pages into clear, mission-aligned sections cut the number of clicks between a member's question and its answer, from event registration to certification requirements to the latest advocacy position.
A brand that reads as a statewide voice
Refreshed visual identity and content hierarchy position NCEDA the way its mission describes it, as a unified voice for the state's economic development community, not a loose collection of program pages.
Built to grow with the membership
A simplified content structure and back office management system gives NCEDA's team an easier system to maintain as the association's programs, chapters, and legislative priorities continue to expand across North Carolina.
