Challenge

One Columbia serves as a unifying force for the arts community in Columbia, SC connecting artists, organizations, and residents through programming, advocacy, and creative placemaking. As its role in the community expanded, the organization needed a digital presence that could better reflect its impact, elevate local artists, and make it easier for users to discover events, public art, and opportunities to engage with the arts.

Solution

We reimagined the One Columbia website to serve as a vibrant, intuitive hub for arts and culture in the region. The new experience prioritizes discovery, storytelling, and accessibility so everyone can explore events, learn about public art installations, and engage with programs that bring creativity into the community.

Clear pathways were created for key audiences, including artists seeking opportunities, community members looking for events, and partners interested in collaboration. The platform was built with flexibility in mind, allowing the team to easily manage and promote events, feature artists, and evolve content as programming grows.
