Challenge

SC Career Kids set out to expand career awareness for young students through an immersive digital experience. The organization needed a solution that would spark curiosity while remaining age-appropriate, classroom-friendly, and easy for teachers and caregivers to implement.

Solution

We developed SC Career Kids Quest, an interactive virtual platform that introduces elementary-aged students to real-world careers across South Carolina. Through immersive 360° experiences, students can explore industries, understand career pathways, and build early workforce awareness in an engaging and accessible format.

Impact

Interactive 360° career experiences
Students can virtually visit real workplaces such as farms, libraries, and construction sites, creating an engaging “learn by exploring” environment.

Standards-aligned learning resources
Each experience includes lesson plans and guided activities that help educators integrate the platform into classroom instruction.

Student-centered UX
The site uses simple language, visual cues, and exploratory navigation designed specifically for elementary learners.

Flexible access for schools and families
Because the platform is fully digital, students can explore careers from school or home.

SC Career Kids Quest positions career exploration as an everyday learning opportunity rather than a one-time event. As additional industries and experiences are added, the platform will continue to grow its impact helping South Carolina’s future workforce explore, experience, and engage earlier than ever.”
