The South Carolina Medical Association (SCMA) represents physicians across the state, serving as a central voice for advocacy, professional development, and member engagement. As healthcare policy evolves and the demands on physicians increase, SCMA needed a digital platform that could better support its members and strengthen its role as a unified voice for the medical community.

Solution

We partnered with SCMA to create a modern digital experience designed around three core priorities: strengthening member services, expanding continuing education access, and amplifying physician advocacy.

  1. Membership Portal Enhancements — The membership experience was reimagined with an improved portal that provides physicians with streamlined access to key benefits, resources, and account management tools. The enhanced system supports easier renewals, personalized member experiences, and simplified navigation for busy healthcare professionals. The membership portal is also integrated into SCMA’s proprietary member management system.
  2. Continuing Education Courses — To support physicians’ ongoing professional development, the website serves as a centralized hub for continuing education courses, helping members stay compliant with licensure requirements while advancing their expertise.
  3. Advocating for a Unified Voice — The redesigned platform elevates SCMA’s advocacy work by making policy updates, legislative initiatives, and physician-led efforts more visible and accessible. The website communicates the organization’s role in representing physicians at the state level and provides members with opportunities to stay informed and engaged in issues shaping healthcare in South Carolina.
